Oh how I love learning things in photoshop! I learned how to do what I like to call "color editing" as I don't know what the real term is. Haha. Here are just a few examples of what I can now do. How exciting!! :]

I did a photo shoot with a dear friend of mine the other day. We went to that old abandoned house I mentioned a few posts back, and had the best two hours of fun I've had in quite some time. Some of these pictures are just phenomenal. I haven't had the time to edit them just yet, but some of the unedited versions of the crying photo shoot we also did, are up on my facebook. Check them out, they turned out really cool. Very tragic, really.

I finished editing the photos from the shoot, I love the end result. Still one of my favorite shoots I've done so far. We had so much material to work with on the set, it was awesome.

Self Portraits

I sometimes try to challenge myself when I have a free moment and I'm totally bored. What is it I do you may ask? I try and take pictures of myself, and then edit them as little as possible.
So my purpose in doing so is to try and be able to make the picture look exactly the way I want it to, while being both in front of and behind the camera. And let me tell you, it's really hard to accomplish. Here is what I have done over the past year in my boredom. Enjoy!

New Camera!

I just got a new camera. It's the canon rebel xsi. 12.1 mp. Amazing quality. I haven't done any photoshoots with it yet, but I am about to very shortly. :]

What an amazing trip! This was by far the best vacation I've ever been on. I got some really neat pictures. Let me just say, I wish that Utah had the ocean. If it did, I would never leave!

Las Vegas

I went to Las Vegas, Nevada for the first time a few weeks ago while on my way back from La Jolla, California. My brother Jason took us on a quick run through of the strip, and in the process, I managed to take some pretty cool pictures. I can't wait to go back and do Vegas the right way!

The Ghost Town

My sudo-big-brother, Jason, was out riding his motorcycle the other day when he found this "ghost town." It's a newly developing gated community that is being built, but it seems that they have run out of money to finish it. Right now there's only roads, side walks, lamp posts, and gates built. There are no houses, no speed limit signs, no mailboxes, nothing. Completely deserted. I decided to go and check it out for myself, and boy did I have some fun! Using my tripod, and the self timer feature on my camera, I took some test photos using myself so as to get ready for future shoots here later. Here are just a few pictures that I took.
