Chinatown may possibly be my favorite place in NYC.



Why? Because there is so much inspiration for pictures! It was by far the easiest to get great photographs in.



And the people are hilarious. Silly, asians.

New York City

New. York. City. Need I say more? The city life, the subways, the people, the talent on every street corner, the character of every street, every building, and the pictures! Oh the pictures you can take!



I was there for about four days, but it wasn't until day three that I finally became inspired.



I was in Washington Square Park at the time, and these two street performers who go by the names "Tic" and "Tac"where putting on a show.



I got some awesome shots of them break dancing, jumping over people, and other action shots. Enjoy!

Oh how I love learning things in photoshop! I learned how to do what I like to call "color editing" as I don't know what the real term is. Haha. Here are just a few examples of what I can now do. How exciting!! :]

I did a photo shoot with a dear friend of mine the other day. We went to that old abandoned house I mentioned a few posts back, and had the best two hours of fun I've had in quite some time. Some of these pictures are just phenomenal. I haven't had the time to edit them just yet, but some of the unedited versions of the crying photo shoot we also did, are up on my facebook. Check them out, they turned out really cool. Very tragic, really.

I finished editing the photos from the shoot, I love the end result. Still one of my favorite shoots I've done so far. We had so much material to work with on the set, it was awesome.

Self Portraits

I sometimes try to challenge myself when I have a free moment and I'm totally bored. What is it I do you may ask? I try and take pictures of myself, and then edit them as little as possible.
So my purpose in doing so is to try and be able to make the picture look exactly the way I want it to, while being both in front of and behind the camera. And let me tell you, it's really hard to accomplish. Here is what I have done over the past year in my boredom. Enjoy!

I just got a new camera. It's the canon rebel xsi. 12.1 mp. Amazing quality. I haven't done any photoshoots with it yet, but I am about to very shortly. :]
